About the Team Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a  RF Design Engineer (f/m/d). You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us. The RF system (telemetry + flight termination) is broad and multidisciplinary, spanning the launch vehicle, ground systems, down-range ground systems, and satellite networks. You therefore need to be a high-performing generalist, who can work independently and autonomously as part of a small team.   Your Tasks Design and troubleshoot RF systems based on off-the-shelf components Plan and implement qualification and acceptance testing of RF systems Test RF systems in the field and/or via analysis and simulation Integrate RF components onto the vehicle Perform RF-related literature reviews and research Become familiar with RF telemetry/flight termination system requirements outlined by the RCC, IRIG, and ECSS standards Prepare and maintain engineering documentation with a high standard of detail and accuracy Develop and maintain Python scripts used for analysis and test Collaborate with other teams across the company Your Qualifications Bachelor or Master study in telecommunications/RF/microwave engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, or an equivalent qualification Strong foundation in digital RF communications theory: modulation, forward error correction, software defined radios, and DSP Strong foundation in electromagnetic principles, antenna theory/design, transmission line theory, link margin analysis, electronics/embedded systems, and RF simulation Hands-on experience with programming languages including Python, C, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink Hands-on experience with wireless communications/telemetry systems is desirable Knowledge of common test and troubleshooting equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analysers, and signal generators Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English We Offer Atmosphere: Experience life in an international & dynamic New Space start-up  Flexibility: Fit your working schedule to your needs with flexible working hours  Home Office: Full-time employees benefit from one day per week home office  Health: Sweat, stretch or squat it out with EGYM Wellpass  Paid Time Off: 30 days annual leave and speacial leave days   Team Culture: Join regular company and team events  Parking: Free parking for car and bike   Insights Ready to take the next step?
