Retrofit Coordinator & Assessor (PAS 2035) Location: Barnsley Salary: Circa £45,000 DOE + use of company vehicle Job Type: Full Time | Permanent About the Role Our client, a growing and well-established business within the energy efficiency and renewables sector, is looking to recruit an experienced Retrofit Coordinator & Assessor to support the delivery of domestic retrofit projects across Barnsley and the wider South Yorkshire region. Working within the energy efficiency and decarbonisation sector, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 , ensuring homes receive the right measures while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service. Key Responsibilities • Carry out Retrofit Assessments in accordance with PAS 2035. • Produce and review assessment reports and supporting documentation. • Coordinate retrofit projects from assessment through to completion. • Develop and manage Medium-Term Improvement Plans (MTIPs). • Ensure all projects remain fully compliant with PAS 2035 and relevant funding requirements. • Liaise with homeowners, installers, designers and external stakeholders throughout the retrofit journey. • Monitor project progress, identify risks and ensure works are completed to the required standard. • Maintain accurate project records using internal systems. • Support quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement. About You We're looking for someone who has: • Qualified Retrofit Assessor and Retrofit Coordinator status (or is working towards one qualification with significant industry experience). • A strong understanding of PAS 2035 and domestic retrofit processes. • Experience working within schemes such as ECO4 , Warm Homes or other funded energy efficiency programmes. • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills. • Strong communication skills with customers, contractors and colleagues. • Good IT skills and experience using retrofit or compliance management systems. • A full UK driving licence.
