We're looking for a commercially savvy Retail Support Analyst to join our Retail Operations team in Melbourne. The Opportunity
As our Retail Support Analyst, you'll be the engine room behind retail performance, providing the insight, structure and operational support that enables our stores to perform at their best.
Working closely with the Head of Retail, Area Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll help identify opportunities, drive improvement programs, coordinate key operational initiatives and ensure our stores have the tools, information and support they need to succeed.
This role is ideal for someone who loves retail, enjoys digging into data, and is equally comfortable building reports, influencing stakeholders and delivering practical solutions across a fast-paced retail network.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Driving Store Performance Through Data & Insights
Great retail decisions start with great insight. You'll play a critical role in helping the business understand what's happening across the store network and where opportunities exist to improve.
You will:
• Analyse sales, conversion, productivity and operational performance data
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports and performance tracking tools
• Identify key trends, risks and performance gaps
• Deliver actionable insights that support commercial decision-making
• Present performance updates and recommendations to retail leadership
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and stocktake remediation programs
• Track the effectiveness of operational improvement initiatives
Leading Performance Improvement Programs
You'll take ownership of structured store performance programs designed to elevate results across the network.
You will:
• Develop performance scorecards and ranking methodologies
• Identify top-performing stores and share best-practice learnings
• Create improvement plans for underperforming stores
• Partner with Area Managers to drive accountability and execution
• Monitor outcomes, report progress and highlight emerging risks
• Track measurable improvements across targeted store groups
Managing Retail Communications & Training Administration
Effective communication creates consistency. You'll help ensure stores always have access to the right information at the right time.
You will:
• Maintain the central retail communication platform and store calendar
• Coordinate and distribute operational communications
• Manage training administration across retail learning platforms
• Support OHS, onboarding and product training programs
• Monitor compliance and completion rates
• Produce regular reporting and recommendations for follow-up actions
• Partner with Retail Operations, HR and Global teams on training initiatives
Supporting Procurement, Expenses & Store Operations
You'll help ensure our stores operate efficiently by managing critical operational processes and supplier relationships.
You will:
• Coordinate procurement of store consumables and operational supplies
• Manage purchase orders, invoices and vendor relationships
• Monitor operational expenditure and identify cost efficiencies
• Support supplier negotiations and service delivery standards
• Track budgets and highlight opportunities to optimise spending
Driving Compliance, Facilities & Store Security
Maintaining safe, compliant and well-functioning stores is essential to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You will:
• Coordinate physical security maintenance including alarms, CCTV and store security systems
• Support new store openings, refurbishments and relocations
• Manage facilities compliance programs across the retail network
• Coordinate service providers and maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance obligations are completed and documented
• Monitor operational controls and remediation activities
Managing Store Data & Continuous Improvement
Accurate information and streamlined processes allow our business to move faster and operate smarter.
You will:
• Maintain store master data and operational documentation
• Ensure information remains accurate, accessible and up to date
• Track progress of priority retail initiatives and projects
• Maintain action registers and implementation plans
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency
• Drive follow-up actions arising from audits, reviews and investigations

YOUR TALENT
About You
You're a retail operations professional who understands what drives store performance and enjoys finding practical ways to make things better.
You'll bring:
• 5+ years' experience in retail, retail operations or a similar analytical support role
• Strong understanding of retail store operations and performance metrics
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and reporting tools
• Experience analysing data and translating insights into action
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Experience within fashion, sportswear, lifestyle or consumer goods environments will be highly regarded
