Physical Requirements: • Ability to exert 20 pounds of force to move items as needed • Complete tasks subject to environmental conditions • Stooping, reaching, keyboarding, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion are all essential functions of the job • Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours or more per day Requirements Work Requirements • Physical activity includes : Stooping, reaching, standing, walking, keyboarding, grasping, talking, feeling, hearing, and repetitive motion. • Physical requirements : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. • Visual acuity requirements : A cashier must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and use of measurement devices. Cashiers are required to have acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned and to make general observations of business activity (monitoring entrance / exit points). • Working conditions : Cashiers are subject to environmental conditions. Cashiers are generally protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. • Equipment/Programs Frequently Operated : Must be able to operate cash register, POS Program, Eagle Browser, and open office Behavioral Competencies • Customer Orientation : Cheerfully meets or exceeds customer expectations – both internal and external.
