About the Role The Restaurant Shift Manager is responsible for directly overseeing the operations of the food and beverage outlet on an assigned shift. Position Responsibilities Responsible for overall management of restaurant for a particular shift Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy Trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants Handles customer complaints Responsible for meeting profit goals in all the restaurants Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs Requirements Three to five years’ experience in full service restaurant management Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand) Benefits Free meal on shift Training & Development Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k,) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $50,000 annually.
