Job description Responsible Individual – Children’s Residential Salary: £65,000 per year, plus exceptional company benefits! Join our team and make a difference in children’s lives by providing senior leadership and management oversight of residential homes for children. We are seeking a dedicated professional who brings passion, dedication, and a wealth of experience to inspire and guide our services. About the Role As the Responsible Individual, you will oversee the management and delivery of services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role involves supervising multiple children’s homes, providing leadership and ensuring the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and ensure the effective management and delivery of services across multiple homes. • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including readiness for Ofsted inspections. • Develop and implement leadership strategies to ensure homes meet the Children’s Homes Quality Standards. • Provide professional support, training, and guidance to residential managers. • Oversee the development and maintenance of person-centred care plans for each child. • Manage resources efficiently and support daily and weekly operations, including coverage during manager absences. • Collaborate with professional colleagues to identify and meet the best interests of each child or young person. • Work with the quality team to implement and monitor care systems and conduct internal audits. • Lead staff disciplinary procedures and handle human resource and recruitment matters.
