Job Description Kahut Waste Services , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a  Residential Route CDL-B Driver  to join our team in  Clackamas & Canby, Oregon . Schedule Monday-Friday Shift 5:30 AM until the route is completed. This route typically averages about 45 hours a week. Starting wage is  $36.00/HR . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • In this position you will be operating multiple types of waste vehicles such as Class-B flat bed delivery truck, glass recycle truck, automated side load truck , on specified routes depending on business needs. • Residential routes can range from 900-1,200 stops per day . • Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the route tablet or assigned by the dispatcher. • Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. • Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers. • Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash/recycle at designated facilities. • Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting (50+ pounds), pushing, or pulling required of objects over 100 pounds. • Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions. • The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
