Requirements
• Required: 3-5 years of experience in residential HVAC service and repair.
• D-2 (Heating, Piping & Cooling Limited) License is REQUIRED.
• Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of jobs, providing high-level diagnostics, and leadership or mentoring.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC system components, electrical systems, and refrigeration principles.
• Proficiency with technology, including using an iPad and company smartphone for daily job management.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Responsibilities and Expectations
• Lead and execute advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, boilers, etc.).
• Act as the senior technical resource on the service team, providing expert guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians during complex service calls.
• Ensure all service work adheres strictly to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining system issues, repair options, and preventive maintenance plans to homeowners.
• Utilize company-provided iPad and smartphone for efficient service documentation, work order management, and professional communication.
• Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked, organized, and properly maintained.
• Complete all service-related paperwork accurately and promptly, including warranty forms and detailed reports.
