Who we’re looking for
• Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 3+ years’ Residential Conveyancing experience (Essential)
• Experience managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload independently, including freehold, leasehold and new build matters
• Proven track record of achieving consistent monthly billings
• Experience dealing with developers, estate agents and referral relationships
• Experience supervising or mentoring an assistant or junior colleague
• Familiarity with Proclaim case management software
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent client care skills
• Adaptable, approachable and resilient, with a collaborative mindset
What you’ll be doing
• Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Handling:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New build transactions
• Title investigations and defect resolution
• Building and maintaining relationships with estate agents and developers
• Attending networking events and supporting business development activity
• Supervising and mentoring your own legal assistant
• Maintaining high standards of compliance, file management and client care
• Contributing ideas to improve processes and workflows within the department
