Executive Connect LTD Nexgen Locum are recruiting for a Residential Childcare Support Worker for our client in Stockport. Job Role: • Ensuring each young person is cared for effectively, addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic and health needs. • Exercising appropriate control over children and young people at all times, maintaining a safe environment • Working in partnership with parents, families, carers and other professionals to advocate for, safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. • Maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality. • Covering various shifts including early mornings, late evenings and sleep-ins, on weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays, within the Homes and on residential trips. • Promoting an organisational culture which values every team member s contribution and is intolerant of discrimination in any form. Experience Required: • Must be level 3 qualified and experienced in residential childcare • Have a minimum of two years experience working with children and young people within a residential, educational or youth working environment Please make sure the above experience is in your cv Standard shifts 8am 5pm, 5pm 11pm and Overnight (11-8). They aren t waking nights if you get up to work you get paid for it otherwise you get paid to sleep.
