Job Summary:
As a Reservoir Engineer, you will provides frontline technical support, delivers software training, and collaborates across teams to ensure a smooth user experience with tNavigator.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical support and software troubleshooting.
• Assist clients by providing technical support for tNavigator.
• Troubleshoot common software issues and escalate complex cases to senior engineers.
• Software training and evaluation projects
• Support and assist in delivering sessions for clients under supervision.
• Participate in software evaluation projects by preparing materials and assisting in demonstrations.
• Software support and liaison
• Act as a bridge between users and developers to enhance software functionality.
• Contribute suggestions for minor improvements based on user experience.
• External representation and industry engagement
• Represent the company in initial-level technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Attend professional events and conferences (e.g. EAGE, SEG) as a participant.
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Work with commercial and technical teams by providing technical support materials.
• Assist in pre-sales activities by contributing technical inputs.
Qualifications and requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or a related field.
• Working experience: At least 3 years of experience in reservoir engineering, simulation or technical support roles with software products like tNavigator, Petrel RE, Eclipse, Pipesim, GAP/RESOLVE,.
• Language proficiency: English and Japanese.

• Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles and workflows.
• Strong interest in reservoir simulation software and technical support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Other requirements:
Willingness to travel for training, client support and industry events.
