Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Location: Hybrid working Contract: Permanent Overview of the Reserving Actuarial Analyst role Sellick Partnership is currently partnered with a leading organisation within the healthcare sector, who are looking to recruit a Reserving Actuarial Analyst into their growing actuarial function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified actuary with strong reserving experience to join a team undergoing a significant period of transformation. You will play a key role in enhancing reserving processes, improving insight, and supporting business-wide decision making. Key responsibilities of the Reserving Actuarial Analyst will include • Supporting the delivery of reserving reviews, including analysis, assumption setting and explaining key movements • Contributing to the development and transformation of reserving processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and insight • Working closely with actuarial, pricing, claims, finance and capital teams to deliver analysis that supports decision making • Ensuring data quality and integrity across actuarial processes, including reconciliation to source systems • Documenting methodologies, assumptions and processes clearly • Providing actuarial reserving insight to internal and external stakeholders Required experience/qualifications of the Reserving Actuarial Analyst will include • Part-qualified actuary, making strong progress towards qualification • Significant reserving experience, gained within insurance or consultancy • Strong Excel skills, with knowledge of VBA and/or SQL desirable • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability • Confident communicator, able to present technical findings clearly • Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and projects Benefits available alongside the Reserving Actuarial Analyst position include (but aren't limited to): • Competitive salary with discretionary bonus • Generous pension contribution • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements How to apply for the Reserving Actuarial Analyst position If you believe you have the required experience and qualifications outlined above for the Reserving Actuarial Analyst role, please apply within.
