Description
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of  Research Fellow . Job Description This post is being created to support the successful development, management, implementation, and dissemination of research projects led by the Principal Investigator (PI), Professor Chen Peng. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work within the PI's research group, leading research projects in nanomedicine related to the development of advanced therapeutic technologies for metabolic disorders and cancers. The successful candidate should possess a strong publication record and demonstrated expertise in nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and mouse experiments. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct innovative research independently • Take a leading role in multi-disciplinary research projects. • Develop research collaborations across NTU and with external collaborators • Supervise undergraduate students • Contribute to writing research grant applications • Publish in high-impact peer-review journals • Present the research to a variety of audiences at seminars and conferences Job Requirements: • PhD in Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering , Material Science or related disciplines • A strong publication record in peer-review journals • Leading research projects • Proven high level quantitative and qualitative research skills • A significant track record in attracting research grant funding • Extensive experience in leading the design of research programs • Experience of supervision of PhD / Masters / Undergraduate students • Experience in teaching research lab s • A strong publication record in peer-review journals • Proven high level and comprehensive research skills • Training in mouse experiments • Experience in materials synthesis and characterizations • Training in cell culturing, molecular biology techniques, histological analyses We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
