Description
We’re working with a top Scottish firm seeking a solicitor join their market‑leading Rural, Land & Business team. This is a great opportunity to combine traditional rural practice with high‑quality renewable energy work.
The Role
You’ll advise landowners, developers and investors on:
• Options and leases for wind, solar, battery, hydro, hydrogen and other technologies
• Rural property matters including commercial leases, sales and purchases of estates, farms, forests and natural capital assets
• Grid connection issues and diversification projects
• Security work for commercial lenders
• Law reform developments impacting clients
You’ll manage your own caseload and collaborate closely with planning, corporate and disputes colleagues.
Applicants will ideally be 2-6 years post qualified and must have a background in either rural, commercial property or energy. You will be able to demonstrate a strong client focus & commercial approach, excellent communication & organisational skills and an interest in renewables and rural work.
Salary will be dependant on experience and the firm offers hybrid working.
