This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic RE specialist , Religious Studies Teacher , Humanities Teacher , or ECT RE Teacher to inspire students and develop their understanding of religion, ethics, philosophy, and contemporary issues. The Role As a Teacher of Religious Education , you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 Religious Studies for the right candidate. You will: • Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the National Curriculum and agreed syllabus requirements • Encourage students to explore a range of religious beliefs, ethical issues, philosophical concepts, and cultural perspectives • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support attainment and achievement • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, tolerance, and critical thinking • Prepare students for GCSE Religious Studies examinations and support excellent outcomes • Contribute to the wider Humanities department and participate in enrichment activities, assemblies, and educational events What We're Looking For • Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or equivalent • A degree in Religious Education, Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy , or a related subject • Experience teaching RE/Religious Studies at secondary level in the UK • Strong classroom management and communication skills • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare • Experience teaching GCSE Religious Studies is highly desirable • Experience teaching A-Level Religious Studies, Philosophy, Ethics, or Humanities would be advantageous Why Register with Reed Education?
