JOB IDENTIFICATION Job Title : Relationship Manager, Energy (Oil, Gas & Power) Unit : Corporate Banking Group : Wholesale Banking B. ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Directly Reports to : Head, Energy (Oil, Gas & Power) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C. JOB SUMMARY Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Energy sector clients by delivering tailored banking solutions across Oil, Gas, and Power while ensuring strong risk management, customer service excellence, and profitability. D. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES 1. Regular/Routine 1. Client Relationship Management Manage assigned Energy sector clients and deepen existing relationships. Identify opportunities for cross-selling banking products including loans, trade, cash management, and treasury solutions. Maintain regular client engagement and provide responsive service. 2. Business Development Originate new business within the Energy sector. Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and account plans. Support deal origination and execution efforts led by the Head, Energy. 3. Credit & Risk Management Prepare credit applications, reviews, and proposals for Energy clients. Monitor portfolio quality and ensure timely renewals and reviews. Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements. 4. Transaction Execution & Portfolio Monitoring Coordinate transaction processing with Integrated Middle Office Monitor account performance, limits, and covenants. Support remedial actions for early warning signals 2. Periodic Responsibilities · Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Energy E. SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Education : A good first degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline. A relevant master’s degree or professional certification in ACIB, ACCA, ICA & CFA will be an added advantage. Minimum Experience: Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in Corporate Banking or Energy Banking Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas and Power operations ·
