THE ROLE
We are hiring a Regulatory Compliance Domain Expert with practitioner experience in the financial institutions and banking world. This person will join our AI Operations Group, led by our Director of Regulatory Intelligence, and will help ensure that Ncontracts' AI-enabled products are built on accurate, well-researched regulatory content.
This is an opportunity to future-proof your compliance career by learning how to use AI tools to create, refine, and validate regulatory content and information at scale. We are prioritizing candidates who have worked directly in compliance; experience in risk management and/or vendor risk management is a strong plus.
At Ncontracts, we embed domain experts inside our product and technology functions to make sure our AI-enabled products are the most accurate and useful tools available to compliance and risk professionals in financial services. You will join a group of Regulatory and Risk experts working to make that happen.
YOU WILL
Build the Regulatory Content that Powers Our AI Tools
- Build and structure regulatory content, organized and labeled in a way that trains and grounds Ncontracts' AI products, so the AI has accurate, well-sourced material to draw from
- Write and refine the prompts and instructions that guide how our AI tools interpret and respond to regulatory questions
- Conduct deep regulatory research that goes well beyond a general search: pulling and reading the actual Federal Register text, dense regulations and their preambles/commentary, and understanding how legal opinion letters and other regulator guidance can shift a regulation's interpretation and risk profile
Validate and Improve AI Accuracy
- Review and sample AI-generated compliance content for accuracy, applying a sharp eye for detail to catch hallucinations or subtle misstatements before they reach customers
- Apply compliance testing skills, including issue identification and determining appropriate sample sizes, to structure how AI outputs are reviewed and validated
- Review customer feedback on AI outputs and use it to identify patterns, correct errors, and improve content and prompting over time
- Serve as a backup resource to help answer customer questions and escalations regarding AI-generated outputs
Create Content and Contribute to Thought Leadership
- Participate in regulatory content creation and thought leadership initiatives that support Ncontracts' position as a compliance intelligence leader
- Use excellent research and writing skills to explain how regulations, laws, and guidance work, in language that is clear and highly accurate
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, and other Content Intelligence team members on AI quality initiatives
YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS)
- Ideal team player (humble, hungry, smart, and kind)
- Compliance practitioner experience at a financial institution, consulting firm, law firm, or regulatory agency, with hands-on experience researching and applying banking r
