Learn more at https://wmplp.com/ Location/Workplace Remote, US About the Role As the Regulatory Counsel, you'll serve as the trusted legal advisor on regulatory matters across multiple WM Partners portfolio companies. You'll work closely with leadership, product development, quality, marketing, operations, and commercial teams to help ensure that products, claims and business practices comply with FDA, FTC, and other applicable law and regulatory standards. Your day-to-day work will include reviewing product labels, packaging, advertising claims, websites, social media, and other marketing materials; advising on dietary supplement, food, beverage, cosmetic, and consumer health regulations; supporting new product development and launches; evaluating regulatory risks and preparing guidance; training business partners and providing advice on changes and updates to applicable law; monitoring manufacturers and certifications; responding to FDA inquiries and other compliance matters; and monitoring changes in the regulatory landscape to proactively guide the business. This role requires balancing legal risk with commercial objectives, providing practical, business-oriented advice, and partnering with multiple portfolio companies that are operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
