We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or final year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. Our Nurses are well respected and valued, working closely with our team of Vets and support staff. We work as a cohesive team to ensure the best possible care is given. The role covers all areas of nursing to include theatre, ward, pharmacy, and nurse clinics. We encourage and support our nurses to pursue particular areas of interest. Many of our Nurses currently have a variety of interests which include exotics and nutrition.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse who shares our passion for animals, has good practical skills and enjoys working in a busy practice. We will also accept applications from final year student RVNs who will be sitting their OSCEs in the next few months.

Full time hours are 38 hours a week, working 4 or 5 days between the hours of 8:00am and 7.30pm. Weekends are 1 in 5 Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 12.30pm. Our out of hours is covered by Vets Now.
About Bridge Vets
Bridge Vets is a well-established, busy first opinion practice and encompasses four premises based in Aberdeen and Portlethen. We are a training practice with a high varied caseload. Our facilities include Digital X-ray including dental x-ray, Ultrasound, Multi-Parameter monitoring equipment and In-House laboratory equipment.
With four sites spread across the city, we are able to offer flexibility of working from our surgical practices of Bridge of Don, Portlethen and Nigg Kirk, to our consult-only practice at Cults.
Aberdeen is set in the beautiful North-East of Scotland, with Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms all on your doorstep, great for weekend adventures and relaxation.

Our team consists of 10 Veterinary Surgeons, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 16 Support Staff, spread across four sites. Our Nurse team consists of experienced Nurses as well as our Student Nurses who are very much involved and part of the team. Within our Vets we have certificate holders in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and our Nurses are encouraged to explore their interests with some working towards certificates in Dentistry, Nutrition and Medicine at present.
