Provides supervision, coaching, and in-service education for nursing assistants and medication aides, ensuring compliance with resident needs and regulations. Oversees onboarding and training of new nursing staff to NLCS standards. Assesses residents’ physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs, securing additional services as needed. Completes and documents admissions, ongoing assessments, and care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Revises care plans based on continual assessment and communicated changes to the RN Care Coach. Demonstrates clinical competence, intervenes appropriately, and ensures thorough documentation. Coordinates interdisciplinary care, communicates effectively, and addresses residents’ psychological needs. Administers treatments, medications, and IV fluids safely and according to policies. Responds promptly to crises, participates in direct care, and ensures a safe, clean environment. Communicates with physicians and supervisors, coordinates testing and procedures, and ensures smooth unit operations. Delegates tasks, monitors staff performance, and ensures resident satisfaction.
