We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered children's home, creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a service, lead a dedicated team, and play a key role in shaping positive futures for the children in your care. As Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and compliance of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered while fostering a positive culture for both young people and staff. What We’re Looking For • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Registered Manager or senior leadership role within a children’s home. • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections, safeguarding, whistleblowing, and supervision practices. • Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive for work purposes. • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team in a children’s residential setting. • Clear enhanced DBS check. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the daily operations of the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations and guidance. • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare, and quality of care. • Lead, support, and develop staff through supervision, training, and mentoring. • Prepare for and manage inspections, audits, and compliance reviews. • Foster a warm, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people. • Manage budgets, resources, and maintain accurate records. • Build strong partnerships with children, families, and external professionals.
