Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ nutritional status, including new admissions and those at risk
• Develop, implement, and document individualized nutrition care plans
• Review diet orders and monitor residents for nutritional risk
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy, and culinary services
• Maintain accurate documentation and report resident concerns
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, rounds, and discharge planning
• Monitor staff adherence to policies and support quality improvements
• Generate reports and evaluate operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with CMS, DPH, sanitation, and safety standards
• Uphold HIPAA, infection control, and OSHA requirements
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Registered Dietitian
• Management/supervisory experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
• Strong planning, organizational, leadership, and team management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Direct experience working in senior living
• Community healthcare experience
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, DPH, and CMS
