Our office, Periodontal Associates Inc, in Lyndhurst OH, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In addition to our stunning Lynhurst office, we also have a beautiful location in Mentor, offering the flexibility to work from either office based on business needs.  We are looking for a talented and skilled  Dental Hygienist to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Here is what you need to know about the role, our team, and why we could be the right next step in your career.    Your Responsibilities   As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in maintaining our patient’s oral health and promoting overall well-being. If you are dedicated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping patients achieve excellent oral hygiene, we want to hear from you!   Responsibilities:   Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions.   Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments.   Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures.   Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.   Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs.   Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation.   Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth.   Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.     Schedule : No Weekends or late evenings Monday - Thursday  9:00AM - 4:00PM As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.     Your Background   You are a resourceful dental hygienist who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and helping the Dentist to provide it.
