Salary : Circa £ 83 ,000   dependant on skills & experience   + car allowance Permanent , Full-Time (With opportunities for Pat-Time) Location:   Rutland,   Bedford   and Northampton Every day, millions of customers rely on us to provide safe, clean drinking water. As a   Regional   Suppl y Manager ,   you'll   play a pivotal role in ensuring the rel iable treatm ent,   distribution   and availability of water across the West region, serving around 2 million customers while leading a large operational workforce and managing critical infrastructure. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced operational manager who can balance customer service, operational excellence, environmental   responsibility   and commercial performance while inspiring teams to deliver their   very best . What will you be doing? Reporting to the   Head of Production for   Ruthamford ,   you'll   have overall responsibility for the operational performance of water treatment and distribution activities across your region.   You'll   lead a team of around 150 people, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, customer   service   and operational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include: • Leading the treatment and supply of drinking water to approximately 2 million customers. • Driving operational excellence across water treatment, distribution,   maintenance   and reservoir management activities. • Delivering financial performance against a significant operational budget while supporting capital investment programmes. • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental and water quality standards. • Leading the response to operational incidents and ensuring excellent service recovery for customers. • Building strong relationships with customers, regulators,   contractors   and key stakeholders. • Driving continuous improvement, operational   efficiency   and strategic change programmes. • Developing future leaders through coaching,   mentoring   and succession planning. What does it take to be successful? You'll   be a proven operational leader with extensive experience in water, utilities,   engineering   or another highly regulated, asset-intensive environment. We're   looking for someone with: • Significant experience   in a senior operational management role. • Strong knowledge of water operations, water   management   and regulatory compliance. • Outstanding leadership and people management capability. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Strong commercial and financial awareness. • The ability to think strategically while delivering operational results. • A proactive,   adaptable   and forward-thinking approach to leadership. • A degree-level qualification and relevant professional accreditation would be   advantageous .
