Job Summary
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients. This role ensures that client needs are met, identifies new business opportunities, and coordinates with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive long-term value.
This job profile is intended for recognized subject matter experts in a job area. Required to manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
Understand client needs and align solutions accordingly.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service delivery.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor account performance and satisfaction.
Prepare and present account reviews and growth plans.
Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least of 8-10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Experience in B2B account management.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis.
