• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team (5+ direct reports) to achieve and exceed territory sales goals.
• Define and implement strategic territory business plans focused on customer acquisition, retention, and market share growth.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital systems, and key decision-makers within the cardiac space.
• Guide the team in delivering clinical and technical value to customers through deep product knowledge and solution-based selling.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, and Executive leadership to align territory strategy with broader company goals.
• Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop targeted action plans for underperforming accounts.
• Ensure ongoing training, coaching, and professional development of the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Maintain a strong understanding of competitive products, evolving clinical practices, and industry dynamics.
• Represent the organization at regional and national conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
Requirements
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 3-5 years of team leadership (5+ sales representatives).
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in cardiology or interventional medical devices.
• Strong background in relationship management, business planning, and strategic account development.
• Deep knowledge of the cardiac care environment, intravascular devices, electrophysiology, or interventional cardiology is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Data-driven decision-making and strong business acumen.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
