The Role We are looking for a Regional P2P Lead to work in our Finance team. Based in  Kuala Lumpur , this role will be responsible for all P2P activities for entities across the region working to standardised processes, and working in an efficient, and compliant manner while meeting local operational needs. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Finance Lead, and will work within the P2P team to ensure the timely processing of invoices and other payable transactions.  Responsibilities  Taking overall responsibility for delivery and performance of team leads and specialists across the invoice processing, cash & banking, payments, purchasing support and vendor management functions.  Setting and managing the day-to-day goals and priorities of the teams. Recruiting of new team members. Having overall accountability for the performance of the team, and representing the regional Finance team to internal customers and the community of Financial Controllers. Being supplier- and customer-focused, this role will partner with both to ensure invoices are paid on time. Outcome-focused communication with all stakeholders; suppliers, purchasers, approvers and Procurement team. Support the organisation in identifying process improvements and efficiencies, and driving the onboarding of those processes amongst the operational teams. Processing and payment of incoming supplier invoices and employee expense claims for the entities in scope, and all processes that support this operation (PR/ PO, vendor management, T&E). Allocate work across the P2P team in the most effective and efficient manner, while ensuring that all deadlines are met. Will direct the P2P team to ensure that all supplier invoices and employee expense claims are paid on time and in a compliant manner. Work independently and provide training and coaching for all members of  the P2P team to enhance their learning and development. Work closely with suppliers, Finance Controllership, business stakeholders (purchasers, approvers) and the Procurement team.  Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar related field is required. Additional professional qualifications in a related field desirable.
