We are seeking a visionary Regional Head to lead RF planning, optimization, and deployment activities. You will be responsible for delivering superior network coverage, capacity, and quality while driving the transformation toward autonomous, AI-driven network operations. By leveraging closed-loop automation and agentic workflows, you will ensure our network remains the benchmark for performance and innovation. Job Duties • RF Engineering Leadership:   Lead end-to-end RF planning for network expansion, modernization, and capacity growth. Drive optimization programs to enhance coverage, throughput, latency, and overall customer experience. • Deployment Excellence:   Oversee RF design readiness and provide deployment support for new site rollouts, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams (Transmission, Core, Operations, Commercial) to ensure timely, high-quality execution. • AI & Autonomous Transformation:   Drive AI/ML-enabled use cases across the RF lifecycle. Lead autonomous optimization initiatives using agentic workflows to support closed-loop monitoring, analysis, and execution. • Process Automation:   Identify and implement automation opportunities for anomaly detection, congestion forecasting, parameter recommendation, and post-deployment validation. • Performance Management:   Analyze OSS data, drive test outputs, and performance trends to proactively identify issues and implement corrective actions. • Vendor & Team Management:   Manage vendor/partner deliverables regarding quality, timelines, and innovation. Lead team capability development in RF engineering and AI-enabled operations. Minimum Qualifications • Education:   Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Experience:   10+ years in wireless/mobile network engineering with deep expertise in RF planning and optimization; 5+ years in a leadership role within network engineering or operations. • Technical Depth:   Mastery of LTE/5G radio networks, RF design, propagation modeling, link budget analysis, interference management, and capacity planning. • Tools & Platforms:   Proficiency in OSS platforms, drive test tools, planning software, GIS platforms, and network performance analytics. • Innovation Mindset:   Understanding of AI/ML applications in telecom, automation frameworks, and data-driven optimization. • Communication:   English proficiency is required; Japanese language capability is preferred. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in dense urban network environments (e.g., Tokyo) and understanding of Japanese telecom market dynamics. • Hands-on experience with 5G rollout, SON, AIOps, closed-loop automation, or autonomous network operations. • Exposure to agentic AI workflows or advanced intelligent operations platforms.
