Florence Crittenton Services of Orange Country Inc - Refugee Resettlement Worker, Swing Sunday - Wednesday (2PM - 12AM) Refugee Resettlement Worker, Swing Sunday - Wednesday (2PM - 12AM) Refugee Resettlement Worker, Swing Sunday - Wednesday (2PM - 12AM) Description • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with youth, demonstrates appropriate boundaries, and ensures appropriate care and supervision. Essential Duties: • Acquires and demonstrates knowledge of Continuum of Care, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care and maintains a professional environment that is consistent with Title 22, licensing regulations, and established agency policies. • Demonstrates effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. • Maintains vigilant supervision of youth placed in 24/7 care. • Actively engages and encourages youth towards their treatment goals and in daily living. • Regularly transports youth to appointments, recreation activities, court, family visits, etc. • Prepares timely and accurate documentation. • Understands and retains instructions for complex tasks. • Facilitate or assist with life skills groups, including budgeting, cooking, hygiene, employment readiness, healthy relationships, grief and loss, and wellness activities. Requirements • Preferred one (1) year of experience working with children, adolescents, or youth in a childcare, educational, residential, recreational, behavioral health, or social services setting is required. Associate’s degree or coursework in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field is preferred but not required. Additional Requirements : • Proficiency in a threshold language preferred. • Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license and auto insurance. • Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR. • Must be able to understand and follow policy and procedures. • Must be able to document services, incidents, and other required forms/documents. • Bilingual Spanish proficiency will result in additional stipend added to base pay. • Must be at least 21 years of age
