Salary: Up to £46,000 (Door-to-Door Pay) Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Flexible Start/Finish) Call-Out: 1 in 4 (Paid at 1.5x) Van & Fuel Card: Provided (Private Use Allowed) Contract: Covering 200 retail stores Role Overview We are recruiting an experienced Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to join a national engineering team servicing major retail clients across the South Midlands. This Mobile Refrigeration Engineer role involves maintaining refrigeration systems across multiple sites, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. Responsibilities The Mobile Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for: • Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs (40% PPM / 60% reactive) • Minor installations and small works (around 5%) • Maintaining refrigeration equipment across retail stores • Meeting SLA targets (4hr, 24hr, 72hr, 30-day) • Providing professional customer service on-site • Following all health & safety standards • Participating in a 1 in 4 call-out rota Requirements To be successful as a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer , you will need: • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration • F-Gas certification (essential) • Experience in commercial refrigeration • Hydrocarbon / CO? experience (desirable) • Strong fault-finding skills • Good communication and customer-facing ability Benefits • Salary up to £46,000 with door-to-door pay • 45-hour week with flexible start/finish • Overtime paid at 1.5x • Company van & fuel card (private use) • 30 days holiday , rising to 33 with service • 4.6% matched pension • Ongoing training and internal progression The Team You’ll join a team of 40 mobile engineers supporting long-term retail contracts.
