Pre-requisites: • Previous experience working with children within an Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1 setting is desirable. • Experience supporting Reception and/or Year 1 pupils within a primary school would be advantageous. • A good understanding of child development and early learning. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A patient, caring, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to supporting young children. • The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a wider school team. • Good organisational and time management skills. • A commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential. • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential. • Two recent education-based references.
