Description
Fridays As a Meet & Greet volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for patients, families, and visitors alike. Whether it’s answering questions with a smile or simply offering a reassuring presence, you’ll help people feel at ease from the moment they arrive. By joining our amazing Meet & Greet team, you’ll help keep things running smoothly at our main reception at Deer Park – and make every visitor’s experience a little brighter. Our Meet and Greet volunteers support us every other week, and we are looking for volunteers to help support on any of the following days: 9.30am - 2.30pm Tuesdays Thursdays Fridays Every single one of our volunteers helps us provide outstanding care and support to the community of North Devon who are impacted by a life limiting illness. We really value the time all our volunteers give to us, and you will be making a real difference to our patients and their families at their most vulnerable time. To find out more, take a look at the Role Brief We make a difference. Want to join us? Complete an application form online and we will be in touch after the closing date to arrange a taster session! Closing date is 29th July 2026 Please contact Sharon Walters for more info: 01271 347239 Please note - two references will be required upon your successful application. It is important that the people who work for and with us, or access any of our services, can be themselves and are valued as unique individuals. We welcome applications from all sections of the communities we serve, reflecting the uniqueness of each person, with the aim of continually improving our services. We are a forces-friendly organisation and welcome applications from Veterans and Service spouses and partners. 35 Reasons Why Its Great To Volunteer For North Devon Hospice
