About The Role:
Guide public land access and energy development across 500,000+ acres of North Dakota’s badlands and
prairies—solving real‐world challenges outdoors while supporting responsible use of America’s public lands.
This role ensures clear, fair, and sustainable land‐use authorizations, connecting communities, partners, and
permit holders to the prairie landscapes they depend.
What You’ll Do:
• Guide to energy, grazing, & special projects across grasslands
• Work with an integrated team of natural resources professionals
• Support land purchases, exchanges, & easements shaping access
• Research historic land records & crack complex boundary puzzles
• Balance office w/field visits to North Dakota’s most iconic places
