We are seeking a transactional associate with at least four years of experience to join the development practice of our market-leading and growing Real Estate Department in NY.  Candidates should have (i) at least 4 years of substantive experience in real estate development or a closely related transactional practice, with meaningful exposure to New York City public-private partnerships and other real estate development projects, (ii) strong transactional drafting skills, including in connection with development agreements, regulatory agreements, and related instruments, (iii) knowledge of NYC development incentive programs, (iv) experience conducting real estate due diligence, including title, survey, and entitlement review, (v) outstanding academic credentials, and (vi) excellent written and oral communication skills. The Firm pays market salaries to our attorneys.  As such, below is the current associate base salary scale: * 1st year:  $225,000 * 2nd year: $235,000 * 3rd year:  $260,000 * 4th year:  $310,000 * 5th year:  $365,000 * 6th year:  $390,000 * 7th year:  $420,000    * 8th year:  $435,000          The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
