Rapid Responder Healthcare Assistant – The Role • Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues, for example covering calls either directly when Care Workers are sick or absent. • Carry out all instructions relating to the direct care of clients as per Home Care Plan. • Always contribute to the protection and well-being of clients. • Provide medication prompting as per Home Care Plan • Provide help with personal care, showering and toileting • Preparing meals and light household duties. • Document any care given and any issues of concern and report as appropriate and as per company policy. • During quiet times support supervisor with their role. • Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues, for example covering calls directly when Care Workers are sick or absent from work and ensuring clients are cared for in a caring professional manner. • Compassion, good communication and organisational skills together with a calm and caring manner are vital for this important role in our company.
