Driving Healthcare Assistant – Co. Meath
Right at Home Ireland is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support clients across Co. Meath .

The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will travel between clients’ homes to provide high-quality, person-centred care in line with each client’s individual care plan.
Your duties may include:
• Assisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
• Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals and assisting with light household duties
• Providing medication reminders in line with the client’s care plan
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Completing accurate care records
• Reporting any changes or concerns regarding a client’s wellbeing
Healthcare Assistants are not required to transport clients in their own vehicles . A car is required solely to travel between client visits.
Essential Requirements
• Full Irish driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, or equivalent
• Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules
• Previous experience in home care, residential care or a similar healthcare setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A kind, reliable and professional approach
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and the required pre-employment compliance checks
