Description
We are seeking a service-oriented, positive, and hard-working individual with an interest in racquet sports who is also a reliable, organized, forward-thinking problem solver with exceptional interpersonal skills to work on a SUB basis as shift coverage needs arise. Shift hours for this position will vary between 8am - 12pm and 4pm - 8pm daily. Job Description: Our Racquet Sports Desk Attendants' priority is ensuring guests and members have an exceptional experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our racquet community, interacting with players of all levels and contributing to the overall success of our tennis and pickleball programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Customer Service Excellence: • Greet and assist residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner. • Handle inquiries, provide information, and ensure a positive experience for all tennis and pickleball facility users. • Knowledge of services offered. • Process point-of-sale transactions, manage inventory counts, and assist customers with retail purchases while providing attentive, professional service. Facility Maintenance: Maintaining the overall organization and presentation of the pro-shop. • Monitor and address equipment needs, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Member Engagement: • Foster a welcoming environment, building rapport with members and promoting a sense of community. • Proactively addressing member needs and feedback, ensuring their satisfaction. Administrative Tasks: • Maintain accurate records of court bookings, lesson schedules, and member information. • Assist with payments as needed. • Assists with managing court reservations and ensuring accurate scheduling. Qualifications: • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Basic computer proficiency. • Previous POS system experience is preferred • Knowledge or interest in tennis and pickleball is preferred. • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to be self-sufficient with job responsibilities. • Previous customer service experience preferred.
