Description
Position : Quantity Surveyor/Estimator Salary : PHP70,000 - PHP90,000/month Working Hours & Conditions : 8:00AM - 5:00PM NZ Time Duties and responsibilities: Estimating & Pricing • Prepare detailed cost estimates for tenders, proposals, and variations • Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents • Build up rates for labour, materials, and subcontractors • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing • Identify risks and opportunities within estimates Tender Support • Assist in preparing and submitting tenders • Ensure estimates are completed within required timeframes • Maintain consistency across pricing and submissions Variations & Costing Support • Price variations and scope changes • Support PMs with cost advice during delivery • Assist with cost planning and budgeting Data / Systems • Maintain estimating databases and pricing schedules • Input job cost data and pricing records • Keep all estimate documentation up to date Admin & Support • Prepare take-offs and templates • Support CRM updates and document management • Assist quote follow-ups and pipeline tracking Reporting • Prepare estimating reports and cost comparisons • Support sales pipeline reporting • Ensure data accuracy Efficiency • Use AI/tools to speed up estimating and admin tasks • Follow and improve SOPs Requirements Qualifications: Detail-Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" mindset where data accuracy is paramount. Analytical Thinker: Ability to deconstruct complex drawings and specifications into logical costs. Tech-Savvy: High comfort level with technology and an interest in leveraging AI/modern tools. Process-Driven: Disciplined in following SOPs and maintaining organized documentation. Efficiency-Focused: A drive to meet tight deadlines and reduce manual admin workloads. How performance will be measured: Estimate Precision: Accuracy of estimates compared to actual project costs. Speed: Meeting turnaround time targets on pricing requests.
