We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor at FSC, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting construction projects, including infrastructure projects for various clients in the road, rail, marine and utilities as well as buildings and energy sector projects. You will play a key role in the commercial and financial management of projects, working closely with Project Managers and Commercial Managers. You’ll contribute across all phases of the project lifecycle - from procurement and contract administration through to closeout and final accounts. You will work with our clients and other FSC team members to plan, deliver and hand over projects throughout Victoria. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions Monitor and manage project costs, budgets, and cashflow to maintain accurate financial performance Procure and administer subcontracts including the monthly claim process in accordance with delegated authority Assess and manage variations, progress claims, payment schedules, and subcontractor invoices Conduct cost forecasting, financial reporting and end‑of‑month commercial reviews Assist in procurement of materials and ensure accurate record keeping for cost tracking Contribute to project planning, cost risk analysis, and resource allocation Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders Support contractual compliance including reviewing, interpreting and administering contract terms
