We work with over 2000+ quality New Zealand businesses across Aotearoa, supporting them to deliver to high-quality experiences while operating responsibility and sustainability. What will you be doing | Ngā whainga As a Qualmark Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in delivering timely, accurate and meaningful online reviews for our members. You’ll work closely with tourism businesses across the accommodation and experiences sectors, providing clear guidance, practical insights and pathways for continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Managing an online portfolio of Qualmark member accounts and deliver high-quality reviews against Qualmark’s Sustainable Business Standards. Conducting online reviews to evaluate whether businesses meet Qualmark standards. Preparing for online reviews by reviewing relevant background information and previous engagement with the member. Produce clear, constructive reports and guidance where standards are not met. Identifying opportunities where Qualmark can add value and support members with practical improvement pathways. Build trusted relationships so members see ongoing value in their Qualmark membership. Maintaining accurate records of engagement and reviews in CRM systems. Through your work, you’ll help strengthen New Zealand’s tourism sector and support businesses to deliver exceptional visitor experiences. What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga You’ll bring a strong mix of relationship-building, review capability and sector understanding. You’ll be confident engaging with business owners online, able to balance quality with efficiency, and comfortable providing clear, constructive feedback. You’ll have: Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly. A partnership-focused, customer-centric approach. Excellent written communication skills, particularly for business reporting. Experience in the tourism sector (ideally accommodation or visitor experiences) and sound knowledge of tourism operations and business management. Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail. A results-focused and curious mindset with the ability to ask good questions and listen carefully to understand a business and how it operates. Strong self-management skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Confidence presenting and engaging in virtual environments. Strong technology capability, including Microsoft 365 and online collaboration tools. Experience working with CRM systems. The ability to identify opportunities for business improvement and quality enhancement.
