Work4u on behalf of its client, a leading production company in the packaging industry in Greece, is looking for a Quality Management Officer. If you are passionate about quality management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, and you want to grow your career in an international industrial environment, then this role is for you! 📌 Location : Kalyvia, Greece 📍 Work model: On-site Responsibilities Management Systems • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRC Packaging, ISCC+ and other relevant industry standards. • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and key stakeholders. • Plan, coordinate, and supervise internal, hygiene checks, and external audits. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, products, and services. • Oversee corrective and preventive action programs, ensuring timely resolution and long-term effectiveness. • Handle administrative quality management tasks and ensure accurate documentation and processing. • Serve as a secondary contact point for customers regarding management system enquiries. Environmental Responsibilities • Manage environmental government reporting and permit control. • Report on environmental performance. Regulatory Compliance • Follow up on regulatory requirements related to raw materials and final products in close cooperation with headquarters. • Respond to customer enquiries regarding regulatory compliance. Quality & Collaboration • Collaborate effectively within a matrix organizational structure. • Work closely with the local leadership team to strengthen the quality culture and optimize procedures. • Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement. • Report complaints to suppliers and follow up on resolutions. • Prepare and monitor monthly quality KPIs. What you bring • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Polytechnic University) is required. A Master’s degree in Quality Management, Food Technology, or a related field will be considered an asset. • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Quality Management within the food manufacturing industry is required. • Strong knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and international standards, including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, IFS, HACCP , as well as applicable food legislation and regulatory requirements. • Proven experience in managing internal and external audits, customer audits, certification bodies, CAPA processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, risk management, process optimization, and change management. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret quality data, identify trends, and drive strategic decision-making. • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards and their integration into quality management systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS systems. • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. • Willingness to travel occasionally abroad and to other company sites.
