Stellenbeschreibung To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Quality Manager the Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and executing quality assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new and existing products, with a strong focus on electronics manufacturing and robust Metal assembly operations What a typical day looks like: • Collect, analyze, and present information regarding business conditions, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, and new product designs for management review. • Propose and evaluate alternative methods and procedures to solve problems and adapt to changing market opportunities. • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define company policies, operating procedures, and quality goals. • Lead and participate in meetings with design and engineering teams to coordinate functions, review policies, and establish procedures to achieve quality objectives. • Serve as the primary technical and quality interface with customers, supporting audits, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Review technical issues across departments and recommend improvements or procedural changes. • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the quality of newly designed products and resolve issues in products already in production. • Stay current on industry trends by reviewing technical publications, standards, and best practices. • Manage special operational situations such as ramp-up phases, NPI launches, and transitions to high-volume production. • Support manufacturing of robust electronic boards used in server applications, ensuring compliance with stringent reliability standards. • Lead and mentor medium-sized teams of quality technicians and auditors across multiple shifts.
