Quality Engineer 6933
Location: Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience
Key Responsibilities of a Quality Engineer
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 standards
• Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement effective corrective actions
• Act as a key point of contact for customers on quality-related matters
• Support continuous improvement activities across manufacturing and quality processes
• Investigate non-conformances and drive preventative actions
• Monitor quality performance metrics and produce reports as required
• Support customer audits and regulatory inspections
Key Skills of a Quality Engineer
• Previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality systems
• Experience conducting audits and managing corrective actions
• Proven Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to build strong relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies
