We are a fast-paced, dynamic start-up, passionate about simplifying complex networking and security for businesses of all sizes Position Summary A mid-level QA Engineer (Web Portal) ensures the quality and functionality of web applications and portals. This role requires expertise in software QA methodologies with a focus on web applications. Key responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable web solutions. Responsibilities - Design and execute test plans for web portals. - Perform manual and automated functional, regression, performance, and security testing. - Document and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA. - Analyze requirements for testability. - Collaborate with teams to clarify requirements. - Work with CI/CD pipelines and automate tests. - Monitor test results and report quality metrics. - Assist in troubleshooting production issues. - Stay updated on web QA trends. - Contribute to codebase improvement through testing. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 3+ years of web portal QA experience. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools. - Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium). - Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Familiarity with Agile and SDLC. - Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus. - Experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Git is beneficial.
