Description
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain QA processes and procedures across the software development lifecycle. • Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for both manual and automated testing. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools. • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring high product quality and reliability. • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Support the continuous improvement of QA practices, including test automation coverage and efficiency. • Work with tools such as JIRA and Xray to manage test cases, track defects, and report on testing progress. • Prepare clear and concise QA reports and documentation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, DevSecOps) to enhance product quality. • Stay up to date with industry trends, QA methodologies, and automation best practices. • Ensure compliance with internal standards and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., security, audit readiness). Required Qualifications: • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual and/or automation). • Basic to intermediate experience with test automation tools and frameworks. • Familiarity with: • Java programming language • Selenium (preferably with Serenity BDD) • Cucumber (BDD approach) • JIRA and Xray for test management • Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. Nice to Have: • Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). • Experience in financial services or regulated environments. • Basic knowledge of performance or security testing.
