📍 Location: Coed Pella, Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, Conwy County Borough, LL29 7AZ
💷 Pay Rate: £39.95 per hour
⏰ Hours: 37 Hours per Week | Monday – Friday
🏡 Contract: Approximately 12 Weeks (Potential Extension Available)

Are you an experienced Qualified Social Worker looking to make a real difference at the front door of Children's Services?
Supply Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) at Conwy County Borough Council . This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, multi-agency environment, ensuring children and families receive timely safeguarding support and the right intervention at the earliest opportunity.
The Role
As a MASH Social Worker, you will:
• ✅ Deliver a high-quality duty social work service at the referral and contact stage.
• ✅ Assess, screen and triage referrals within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub.
• ✅ Support the Team Manager in making informed decisions at the point of entry into Children's Services.
• ✅ Undertake safeguarding interventions, provide advice, signposting and short-term support where appropriate.
• ✅ Work in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and All Wales Safeguarding Procedures .
• ✅ Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes for families.
• ✅ Maintain accurate and timely case recordings, assessments and reports.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
✔ Qualified Social Worker status.
✔ A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience .
✔ Current Social Care Wales registration.
✔ Experience of Child Protection and Section 47 Investigations .
✔ Excellent assessment, communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Strong IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate case records.
✔ The ability to work effectively within a busy multi-agency safeguarding environment.
✔ Be based locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of Conwy County.
