Close About the role The ideal candidate Why join them? About the role Tempdent is recruiting for a permanent Qualified Dental Nurse to join a well-established mixed NHS/private practice in the South West London area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stability, a supportive team, and a practice that is keen to welcome someone for the long term. This is a 3-surgery practice with a strong team culture, long-standing patients, and a warm, easy-going environment. The team has a lovely working relationship and is looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of the practice for years to come. You will mainly be supporting one dentist full-time, with additional exposure to implantology / oral surgery sessions once per month. This is a varied role that would suit a confident, organised Dental Nurse who enjoys working closely with a clinician while also being part of a wider supportive team. Working hours • Monday: 8:30am – 6:00pm • Tuesday: 8:00am – 2:30pm • Wednesday: 9:00am – 7:00pm • Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00pm • 1 Friday per month: 8:00am – 2:00pm • 1 Saturday per month: 8:30am – 1:30pm The role • Chairside support during general dental treatments • Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials ahead of clinics • Assisting with smooth patient flow throughout the day • Supporting excellent patient care and helping patients feel comfortable • Maintaining high standards of decontamination and infection control • Supporting occasional implant / oral surgery sessions • Keeping the clinical environment organised, clean and efficient The ideal candidate • Qualified Dental Nurse • GDC registered • Previous dental nursing experience • Friendly, reliable and team-focused • Someone genuinely looking for a long-term role rather than a short-term stop-gap Why join them? • £15–£17 per hour, depending on experience • Dental care • CPD • Uniform provided This is the kind of role candidates often ask for but don’t always find — a genuinely welcoming team, supportive day-to-day environment, long-standing patients, and a practice that values loyalty and team fit. The practice is looking for someone who wants to settle in, enjoy their work, and become part of a stable and friendly team. If you’re a Qualified Dental Nurse looking for a permanent opportunity within a well-run mixed practice, we’d love to hear from you.
