What does a QC Lead do at WPP Production?
The QC Lead is responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing quality control standards across all content types (video, print, and digital). This role leads the QC function end-to-end—ensuring consistent quality, reducing errors at scale, and embedding a culture of quality across production workflows.
Beyond execution, the QC Lead drives process improvement, standardization, and the integration of tools and automation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across high-volume, multi-market operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the QC Function Across Disciplines Oversee QC across video, print, and digital deliverables, ensuring consistent quality standards across all projects, formats, and markets.
Define and Standardize QC Processes Design, implement, and continuously improve QC frameworks, checklists, and workflows to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development Manage, mentor, and develop a team of QC artists/analysts. Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and build capability across disciplines.
Establish Quality Benchmarks and KPIs Define and track quality metrics (e.g., error rates, rework, first-time-right delivery, turnaround times) to measure performance and drive improvements.
Drive Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement Identify recurring issues and systemic gaps (e.g., briefing, versioning, ingestion, templates) and implement solutions to prevent rework and improve upstream quality.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally Partner with Production, Creative, Project Management, and Tech teams to align on quality expectations, workflows, and delivery standards.
Implement Tools and Automation Evaluate and deploy QC tools, proofing systems, and AI-driven solutions to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability of quality control processes.
Oversee Complex and High-Risk Deliverables Act as final approver or escalation point for high-visibility, complex, or high-risk projects across channels.
Ensure Compliance with Client and Platform Requirements Guarantee that all deliverables meet brand guidelines, legal requirements, and platform specifications across regions and formats.
Support End-to-End Quality Assurance Strategy Extend beyond final QC by influencing upstream processes (briefing, templates, versioning, ingestion) to ensure quality is built into the workflow, not just checked at the end.

Experience working with US-based accounts or clients.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
+7–10 years of experience in QC/QA, post-production, or content production environments
