About the job: We are looking for a QA Tester (AQA) with a strong foundation in manual testing to support and expand our automation efforts. This role is not just about writing scripts. It requires a deep understanding of what to test, how to test, and why it matters. You will ensure product quality through a combination of solid QA practices and automation-first execution. What You’ll get to do: Quality Assurance and Test Design (Foundation) Understand business requirements and translate them into clear, structured test scenarios Design effective test coverage including positive, negative, edge cases, and risk-based scenarios Identify gaps, risks, and potential failure points early in the development cycle Perform root cause analysis and provide clear defect reports with impact assessment Automation Development and Ownership Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (UI and API), primarily using Playwright Ensure automation reflects real user behaviour and meaningful test scenarios Contribute to improving the automation framework for scalability and maintainability Continuously expand automation coverage to reduce manual regression effort Test Execution (Manual and Automated) Execute both manual and automated tests depending on context and coverage needs Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing for new or complex features Validate automation results and ensure reliability of test outcomes Identify regression scope and ensure critical areas are properly covered CI/CD and Quality Visibility Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines Monitor test execution results and investigate failures Provide clear reporting on test results, risks, and quality status Support release decisions with data-driven insights Collaboration Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA to align on quality expectations Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Share knowledge and contribute to improving QA and automation practices across the team What we’re Looking For: QA and Testing Fundamentals Strong foundation in manual testing and QA methodologies · Ability to understand requirements and design effective test scenarios · Experience in defect analysis and risk-based testing Automation and Technical Skills Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) Basic programming knowledge ( preferably JavaScript ) Experience with API testing Familiarity with Git or version control Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Good communication skills in English Proactive mindset and willingness to learn Here's what we offer: Work Life Balance: 33 days off per year, including public holidays, rising to 43 by year 5 inside the company 3 sick leave days per year (without a doctor’s note) and unlimited medical leave Enjoy a flexible hybrid work schedule after passing probation If return to work soon after having child, 1 year 100% WFH for mothers WFH after the child is born – for fathers:
