Job Summary: The QA Automation Engineer, based in Athens, will be for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and processes. The role focuses on building robust test automation solutions using modern tools and frameworks to ensure continuous quality across our investment management platform. The engineer will be a primary contributor to the QA automation strategy, CI/CD integration, and performance testing methodologies. What You Will Do:          Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright framework for web application testing.        Implement and execute performance and load testing using K6 or JMeter to validate system scalability and reliability.       Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated test execution, reporting, and quality gates.      Develop and maintain API test automation frameworks to ensure backend service quality.      Work with product owners and project managers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and measurable quality goals.       Analyze test results, identify patterns in failures, and provide actionable insights to development teams.       Continuously improve test automation coverage, execution speed, and reliability.       Champion best practices in test automation, including page object models, data-driven testing, and parallel execution.      Collaborate with DevOps to integrate testing into deployment pipelines and ensure quality at every stage.      Provide QA sign-off on releases, maintaining full accountability for product quality. Requirements   What You Bring to the Table: ·        3-5 years of experience in QA with strong focus on test automation. ·        BS or MS in Computer Science or similar. ·        Hands-on experience with Playwright framework for UI/E2E test automation (required). ·        Proven experience with performance testing tools such as K6 or JMeter (optional). ·        Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test scripting. ·        Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and integrating automated tests into pipelines. ·        Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing). ·        Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies. ·        Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA automation functions within it. ·        Experience with Docker and containerized test environments is a plus. ·        Experience in Financial/Investment Management Software is considered a strong asset. ·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
